NOTES ON TROVATORE BELT POSITIONING

When putting on the belt, one should use their fingers to move the belt down on the platter to somewhat with the height of the belt on the motor pulley.  Then slowly rotate the platter a turn so, whilst using the other hand to center it on the pulley.   After that the motor auto centers it.  If the when you turn on the motor the pulley wants to cling to one of the two flanges of the pulley, just gently give it a little push in the appropriate direction.  After that, you will rarely, if ever, have to touch it again.
