WHEN A FANCY RECORD CLAMP SLIPS FROM YOU HANDS
This was my "new" McIntosh C20 classic tube stereo preamp. I fully restored it and brought it to better than original specs.
I liked the the looks of the record clamp sample I
received from....probably JELCO.
It looked swell, all those fancy spokes; new, longer, lower just like the 70's
cars you had to crawl into.
Note that the beautiful clamp is so wide, that many 78s cannot play to the end!
I was playing an LP. So no worry about dropping
it and smashing a 78 to bits?
When the side was done done, I picked the clamp off of the LP,
and it SLIPPED out of my hand, bounced off of my hip, and right into my
newly restored C20!

Now you one reason I created the Rek-O-Kut & Empire Disc Stabilizer Clamps.
